Bacon Horseradish Dip

Try this dip with French fries, fresh bread or as a topper on potatoes.

  • Yields: 1 to 1 ½ cups (375 mL)
  • Preparation: 5 minutes (not including time to cook bacon)

Ingredients

  • 9 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup (250mL) GAY LEA - Original Sour Cream
  • 1/3 cup (75mL) light mayonnaise, or yogurt
  • 2 tbsp (25mL) prepared horseradish
  • 1 tbsp (15mL) lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp (2mL) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp (2mL) salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In bowl, stir together bacon, sour cream, mayonnaise, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and salt (optional).
  2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 8 hours.
  3. Bring to room temperature before serving.
