Mega Mango Smoothie
As a breakfast or snack, this flavourful smoothie will give you the boost to power through your day.
- Yields: 2 to 4 servings or 4 cups (1 L)
- Preparation: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (375mL) frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup (250mL) Nordica 2%
- 1 cup (250mL) ice cubes
- 1/2 cup (125mL) orange juice
- 1/2 cup (125mL) water, (cold)
- 1 banana, (small), cut into chunks
- 2 tbsp (30mL) honey
- 1 tbsp (15mL) flax oil
- 1 tsp (5mL) vanilla extract
Instructions
- Place the mango, cottage cheese, ice cubes, orange juice, water, banana, honey, flax oil and vanilla in a blender. Blend for 2 minutes or until very smooth; serve immediately.
